He’s a big powerful man;
working big powerful machines.
He looks you in the eye when he shakes your hand;
His speaks true, and says what he means.
A man working hard and honestly;
does’t guarantee him an easy destiny.
He competes in the business rodeo;
got bucked-off by the bronk called life.
A strong man can ride all eight seconds;
When blessed with a strong wife.
Together they scratch and claw;
Searching for the truth inside of the law.
Trusting people most will say;
is tricky business now days.
Knowing who has your back;
and spotting those,
That are part of the attack.
“You can’t believe it now,
But you’ll be okay” words i said years ago,
Are coming true today.
True friends we will always be;
“and never forget… The truth will set you free”
